Step-by-Step

The Vortex86 Family provides you with a quick and easy step-by-step product design solution.

Typical Steps

  1. Get a VSX-6190S/VDX-6390 to test the SoCs performance and application compatibility.
  2. Contact soc@dmp.com.tw to get the reference design of the VSX-6190S/VDX-6390
  3. If necessary, sign an NDA to get s full datasheet of the Vortex86SX/DX
  4. Follow the reference design ( schematic, gerber, layout) to start your design.
  5. E-mail your schematic or layout to DMP’s FAE for review (optional)
  6. Get a Vortex86SX/DX engineering sample from DMP (with or without BIOS pre-installed)
  7. Debug. DMP’s FAE can also provide debug service on request.
  8. Finish up any loose ends and enter production.
